Creating with Ruby Mae Jewelry

"Courage doesn't mean you don't get afraid. Courage means you don't let fear stop you."

SOLD OUT! And another epic success. Wine, Women, and Whimsy Making was the theme of this creative jewelry making workshop facilitated by sweet Leah, uber talent behind Ruby Mae Jewelry. A part of our mission here at Alis Living is to provide opportunities for women to explore their creativity, to get to know themselves at a deeper level, and to connect with other women on this journey we call life. Taking time out for creative endeavors is indeed an act of courage. You must overcome feelings of guilt for not spending the time serving someone else, or being "more productive" in some other way. What we don't realize, is that allowing ourselves creative pursuit, we are actually exercising creative "muscles" that help us be more productive, and more joyful in our daily lives. That makes us more fun to be around, and sets a great example for our circles of influence.

With sooooo many options, the beautiful finished pieces were as varied as the beautiful women themselves. Lots of laughter erupted from the house this evening. There's just something magical that happens when women get together and enter into the creative process. Each artist and instructor we partner with is talented, generous, passionate, and best of all, they know how to bring out the best in you!

We'll be announcing another fabulous Ruby Mae workshop for this Fall, so make sure to sign up for our newsletter, and follow our facebook and Instagram pages. You won't want to miss a single event!

Buttons, and baubles, and beads, oh my! A table full of "extras."

Having fun with my new selfie stick. Thanks for the sweet gift, Leah!
